Product Information |
|
Product Name | Thiolated Hyaluronic Acid (HA-SH) |
Form | White solid foam |
Synonyms | HA-SH |
Overview |
Blafar’s Fast-Gelling Thiolated Hyaluronic Acid is modified from a natural glycosaminoglycan and component of extracellular matrix (ECM) making it particularly suited to cell culture, cosmetic and medical device applications. It may be used in conjunction with ECM proteins such as collagen, laminin, or fibronectin for most 3D cell culture and tissue engineering applications.
Thiolated hyaluronic acid is suitable for tissue engineering applications, especially for the production of hydrogels in the investigation of wound healing. Blafar’s thiolated hyaluronic acid can be crosslinked with a very short gelation time with multi-vinyl cross-linkers. All batches of thiol-modified hyaluronic acid are provided with the full Certificate of Analysis.
Blafar offers a range of HA-SH products with different molecular weight and different degree of substitution.
